Oxfordshire Cottage
Background
The couple in this home had limited coverage in one end of the building and a very poor to non-existent mobile service. A major issue was being located 3 miles from the nearest Vodafone network tower. With Vodafone discontinuing their Femtocell Sure Signal service in September 2020, there was only one option - an Ofcom-compliant product from Cel-Fi.
Solution
Vodafone was the only carrier required. The customer needed voice and data connectivity because their broadband service was also very unreliable. We provided a Cel-Fi solution for Vodafone with a DAS system through the property.
Challenges
Cabling was a big challenge in this residential property but since it was a traditionally constructed property, with careful planning, we were able to locate all of our systems. We managed to ensure everything was hidden and nothing was visible, which is what we pride ourselves on.
Result
Vodafone is now great for voice and data connectivity throughout the whole property. They no longer suffer with poor quality calls and enjoy a good 4G data backup service - a very happy customer.
